Owen went to a Birthday party recently for a little girl in his class. The little girl has a twin sister in the other Infant 2 class, so the parents invited both classes. As you can imagine it was quite the party scene at Pizza Express. At the party there was a woman doing face painting. I was amazed at the speed and precision at which this artist managed to make 30 kids - yes, 30 of them - very happy. Not to mention the variety! There were dalmations, power rangers, spidermen, butterflies, fairies, frogs, lions, clowns - you name it, she could create it on their faces. This was no flower on the cheek or superhero painted on the forearm...full blown face paint!
We had a similar experience at the Rainforest Cafe when Mama and Papa were visiting. As you can see, Jack became a jaguar and Owen became a Red Eyed Tree Frog. Be who you want to be - paint your face!!
