On Sunday, August 23 the Schmit family left us...but I could not stay depressed too long because we were happy to welcome Heather and Todd Pruden over for dinner. Todd works with John and was in London for a few days to work from the London office. Heather decided to join him for a long weekend and we are so glad she did! We quickly determined, however, that it was not a long enough visit and she will have to return at a later date so I can spend some time showing her my favorite shopping haunts!
It was so nice to sit and catch up with them and hear about their girls Olivia and Eve - who will be welcoming a baby sister in October! So we hope to have Team Pruden come for a visit once Baby Girl Pruden is old enough to travel.
