Team Mueller departed London for Chicago on the same day as Team Simmons - July 10. We arrived to Mama and Papa's very excited to see everyone and happy to spend time with family in Chicago. Some of our favorite things to do while home include swimming at "Aunt Meghan's beach", going to a play with Mama and Papa at the Shakespeare Theatre at Navy Pier followed by lunch at Riva and of course our brunch with family and friends. John and I also want to give a special "shout out" to Anne & Chuck, who have consistently made an effort to see us when we are in Chicago. Every summer they have flown in for one night. Another thanks to Kelly and Larry Schmit, who always host us for a BBQ at their house before a Cubs game. Kelly and Larry also allowed Team Mueller to crash at their house for a night. We had an absolute ball in Chicago - it almost feels as if there are not enough hours in the day and not enough days in our week to see everyone and catch up. So we do apologize to those who we just didn't get to this time.
After a fabulous week in Chicago we flew to Boston and spent a week with the Muellers, Sealses and Cadys on Cape Cod. We rented a house in New Seabury and had an absolute ball doing nothing but swimming in the pool, going to the beach, relaxing and enjoying each other's company. The week seemed to fly by too quickly and as we were bidding safe travels to the Muellers/Seals/Cady families, the Rocks/Rocks/Snows turned up for the second week. We also had a few days with Team Simpson - thank you for making the trip down from Marblehead. There is something about spending time with family, with literally nothing else to do but relax, swim, eat, sleep and enjoy. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful two weeks!!!
