Sorry we haven't updated in a while - stay tuned. We have so many pictures to download and some good stories to tell. Spring has arrived in London. Today (Saturday 26 April) it was 22 degrees celsius, a comfy 71 degrees!
Just a preview of things to come:
1. The boys have started the summer term, which ends July 3. They are in their summer uniform - shorts with knee socks, red gingham shirts and their blazers. Jack unfortunately inherited the Rock knees. Picture to follow soon.
2. Colleen had a great weekend in Berlin visiting with Emily Snow - her niece from Boston. Emily and the chorus from Hingham High School traveled to Germany and Poland during their spring break. Colleen flew over for a weekend to meet up with Em and really enjoyed meeting her friends and riding on a bus with the high school kids...Colleen definitely felt 40.
3. Colleen also enjoyed a day out with the "mums" from our neighborhood to Stoke-on-Trent, which is the pottery capital of England. The girls visited Burleigh, Emma Bridgewater, Spode and Portmerion...and Coll came home with several lovely serving pieces and a proper tea set!
4. John and Colleen just returned from a weekend in Florence - we hooked up with Dana and Scott Brandt and also Ann and Jeff Brandt, who were traveling around Italy. We all met up in Florence and had an absolute ball. The actual traveling for us was not so good...but we'll save the details for the full entry and pics.
